I recently returned from a quick trip to Florida, and an even quicker trip to the Ding Darling NWR on Sanibel Island, FL. These Roseate Spoonbills were bathing on the sunny side of the marsh early Sunday morning and not too worried about the photographers and birders perched a hundred yards away.
To celebrate my quick trip to Florida, here is a shot from my trip to Sanibel/Captiva last fall. The photo is taken through a screen which gave a very interesting texture to the photograph.
