As promised yesterday here is a photo of Hancock’s Resolution on Bodkin Creek in Pasadena, MD. Stephen Hancock built this farmhouse in 1784, and the house is on the National Register of historic places. Over the past few years this farm has been historically restored and puts Pasadena on the map historically speaking. I’ve been to the property several times for different events and each time I am impressed with the authenticity of the renovation. The caretakers of this property are in tune with it’s historical significance.
I was a bit bummed that the site was closed when I arrived around 12:30PM on a Saturday, but nonethess the view from Bayside Beach Road was adequate for the shot. I plan on returning in the spring to photograph the gardens located on the back side of the house you see above.
