One of the things that bummed me out at the Cemetery photowalk was the snow covered grounds lent themselves to a white balance nightmare. I was was relieved to find a little green in the photo above. This photo was taken with my Quantaray 28-200 zoom with the 25% graduated ND filter. It’s hard to really get a good grasp on the effect of the ND grad here because the sky is not in the frame.
One of the aspects of the photo that is compelling to me is the texture found in the cross. When I was editing the photo in Lightroom 3 I spent quite a bit of time trying to overstate the texture.
