96% Waning Gibbous

A quick photo from last night before heading to bed. The moonrise over the Atlantic last evening was less than stellar from our vantage point.  The moon was dark red from the hazy conditions.  However, when I stepped out on the deck before bed it was bright white.

I completely missed the Supermoon this past weekend.

    1. Thanks Frank! I used my Canon 7D with a Tamron 70-300 lens focused at 300MM with image stabilization turned on. For camera settings I used F/16, ISO100, 1/25th second exposure. I should have bumped the ISO and shutter a little bit (for next time). I cropped the image quite a bit.
